|“At home I serve the kind of food I know the story behind.”
At Hometown Harvest, we are not only providers of the best produce and local grocery items. We tell you exactly where our food comes from.
Through our well-established relationships with local organic farmers as well as family farms in other regions, we bring you the stories behind the food, knowledge of the soil in which it was grown, and the shipping and transportation methods involved in our supply chain. When it comes to food, we believe in total transparency and providing our members with complete information about sourcing from seed to plate.
As much as possible, we source our produce from local farms. We believe in supporting farmers in the tri-state area and keeping our carbon footprint low by working with local producers.
During the "in season" spring, summer and fall months, we are 100% local.
During the "off season" winter months, we continue to source from our local growers as much as we can. This includes root crops, potatoes, onions, and greenhouse greens. We also work with some trusted farms outside of our area to provide a wonderful variety of fresh fruits and veggies.
No matter where our produce comes from, we will provide the source and story behind what you are eating.
Going further, at Hometown Harvest we are not only dedicated to the highest quality local food, but also to providing superior service. It is our goal to exceed your expectations and be the best organic produce and natural product delivery service available. If you’re not completely satisfied with our service, then we will make it right. Take a look at our No-Hassle Guarantee, which outlines our pledge to providing exceptional service to our members.
In addition, Hometown Harvest is committed to sustainable and eco-friendly business practices. As a company, we make every effort to provide you the highest quality food while keeping our carbon footprint at a minimum.
