The handmade dough, made from natural yeast and fermented for 18 hours to develop the natural sour and depth of flavor, is placed in an 11,000 pound Italian imported oven with a masonry floor and a steam injection system, ensuring a moist interior. The steam injection system also creates the perfect crust.

STORAGE: This sourdough bread can be stored at room temperature (do not refrigerate) in a breathable bag with cut side down. To refresh, slice and toast or preheat oven to 375 - 400 degrees Fahrenheit and bake 8 to12 minutes on heated baking stone or center of oven rack.
FREEZING: Allows you to use on demand. Simply remove bread from existing bag and wrap in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Place back in bag and freeze up to 30 days.
DEFROST/BAKE: Allow bread to defrost at room temperature. Keep wrapped in plastic or foil so moisture can be reabsorbed. Remove bread from packaging and place in preheated oven 375 - 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 12 minutes until bread reaches desired crust. Please note all ovens vary; adjust baking time as necessary.
DIRECT FROM FREEZER: Preheat oven to 375 - 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove bread from packaging. Place directly on heated baking stone or center of oven rack. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until bread reaches desired crust. Please note all ovens vary; adjust baking time as necessary.
